Ebru Kurbak is an artist/researcher based in Vienna, Austria, whose recent practice focuses on uncovering hidden values and ideologies in science and technology research. Ebru is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has previously taught at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the University of Art and Design Linz, and Istanbul Bilgi University, held residencies at Eyebeam, LABoral, V2_, and La Gaîté Lyrique, and exhibited internationally at MAK Museum, ZKM, Ars Electronica, Siggraph, and other venues. She was awarded the LACMA Art + Technology Grant in 2019.
