Biography
I am a computer graphics researcher and Head of Research, 3D & Immersive at Adobe. I am also Professor at Ecole Polytechnique, Institut Polytechnique de Paris. I am currently on leave from my professorship in Computer Science at Telecom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France, where I founded the computer graphics group in 2008. I was also previously the Chief Scientist at Allegorithmic (acquired by Adobe in 2019). I received an M.Sc (2004) and a Ph.D (2007) from the University of Bordeaux as well as a HDR ("Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches") in Computer Science at University Paris XI (2012). My research areas focus on 3D Computer Graphics, with a special interest in Modeling and Rendering efficiently 3D data, which includes shape analysis (from spatial to statistical methods, with application to recognition, interactive modeling and rendering), geometry capture, processing, editing, real-time image synthesis, global illumination, GPU programming and graphics data structures.
